Child Development Services Manager
This position works under the direction of the Head Start Director as part of the interdisciplinary Head Start management team. The Education Managers share primary responsibility for development, implementation, administration and on-going monitoring of the Head Start and Early Head Start child development services. The Child Development Services Manager is responsible to the Head Start Director and the Head Start Associate Director.

Director of VT Women's Business Center
The VWBC Director provides leadership in all facets of the statewide Vermont Women’s Business Center. The Director is responsible for grant renewals, narrative, data, and fiscal reports to the U.S. Small Business Administration and other funding agencies associated with the Vermont Women’s Business Center. VWBC is an integral part of Central Vermont Community Action Council’s (CVCAC) mission to eliminate poverty by increasing knowledge, wealth, and assets of people and communities in Vermont. The VWBC Director manages the program, development, and implementation of the Vermont Women’s Business Center in concert with the Associate Community Economic Development (CED) Director and the CED Director. S/he serves as the VWBC’s liaison to the U.S. Small Business Administration, other agencies, and community institutions. The VWBC Director reports to the Associate CED Director and is part of the Community Economic Development Program and CVCAC.

Head Start Teaching Assistant- Barre, VT
The teaching assistant works as part of the local field office team and is responsible for assisting in all aspects of the classroom including planning, preparation, implementation and assessment of activities. The teaching assistant is supervised by the team manager and works under the day to day direction of the center-based teacher(s).

Substitute Teachers- Barre, Boltonville, Chelsea
Substitute teachers provide Head Start services to children and their families. They are responsible for ensuring the safety of children in the classroom at all times. Substitute teachers are directed by the team manager and/or classroom teachers to ensure curriculum is carried out, positive child guidance is used, and activities are adapted for children with disabilities. The substitute teacher is supervised by the team manager with input from the classroom teachers.
