Join the May 8th Community Food Drive
On Saturday, May 8th, several area U.S. Postal Services are participating in the National Letter Carriers Food Drive. If you have rural mail delivery, place your items in a bag or box near your mailbox. Your postal carrier will pick up your donation during their regular Saturday morning delivery. Only non-perishable items will be accepted.
This 18th annual event is the largest one-day food drive in the nation. In 2009, a record 73.4 million pounds of non-perishable food was collected for a grand total of 982.7 million pounds collected in the past 17 years. Please help in this community-wide effort to restock
